Calling all clever builders and creative troublemakers! Inspired by Home Alone, we’ll spend the day designing miniature houses and dreaming up inventive ways to protect them.
Build rooms, create obstacles and experiment with miniature traps, alarms and escape routes using cardboard and creative reuse materials. Test your ideas with toy figures, tackle building challenges and add your own unexpected inventions.
We’ll also enjoy a themed treat and watch Home Alone. A day of hands-on making, teamwork and creative problem-solving—with plenty of room for big ideas!
Date: Tuesday, December 22
Time: 9 a.m.–4 p.m.
Ages: 8–12
Includes: All tools, materials and supplies, plus a themed treat
Lunch: Bring your own nut-free lunch or select the pizza lunch add-on at registration. Includes two slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza, veggies and dip, and a juice box.
All skill levels welcome. Dress for a mess and bring snacks and a water bottle.
